A powdered protein substitute for the dietary management of rare inborn errors of metabolism (PKU, MSUD, HCU, TYR, MMA/PA, GA). explore is a second stage protein substitute that can be mixed to form a semi-solid consistency, suitable for use when introducing solids, or mixed as a low volume drink.

explore5 is suitable from 6 months of age (unflavoured).

PKU explore10 is suitable from 1 year of age (orange or raspberry flavoured).

explore is a food for special medical purposes and must be used under medical supervision.

Preparation Instructions

explore5 and explore10 can be taken as a semi-solid spoonable consistency:

For explore5 add 12.5ml of cold water into a beaker. For explore10 add 25ml of cold water into a beaker.

Empty the contents of the sachet into the beaker.

Secure the lid and shake well for 10 seconds.

Leave to stand for 2 minutes, allowing a smooth semi-solid consistency to form. Consume with a spoon.

explore5 and explore10 can also be taken as a low volume drink:

For explore5 add 40ml of cold water into a beaker. For explore10 add 80ml of cold water into a beaker.

Empty the contents of the sachet into the beaker.

Secure the lid and shake well for 10 seconds.

Drink immediately.
